It’s never too early to search for that elusive diamond in the rough. Here’s an early look at some players who could outperform their ADP and take your team to the next level!

Robert Williams (C) – Boston Celtics

‘The Time Lord’. It feels like we have been waiting forever for him to breakout, and this year could be his year. We saw glimpses of his all-round stat-stuffing ability, but injuries and sharing time with Daniel Theis didn’t lead to a great season last year. Fresh off signing a 4-year, $54 million contract, big things should be in store for the Celtics big man.

Isaiah Stewart (C) – Detroit Pistons

Stewart came into his rookie season backing up Mason Plumlee and we didn’t get to see what he is capable of until the Pistons threw in the towel on the season and made him the starter. His numbers last season of 7.9 PPG and 6.7 RPG may not look that appealing, but on a young, rebuilding Pistons team, he should be able to improve on those numbers drastically. Also, he shoots the 3 at 33%, and who doesn’t love a big man who can shoot?!

Fred Van Vleet (PG,SG) – Toronto Raptors

Van Vleet showed last year that he is a top player in the NBA, so why is he on this list? The fact that Kyle Lowry is gone and the Raptors not replacing him with a quality PG, means that FVV should be handed the keys to the city, and the offense, which should mean an increase in assists and points. He might cost you a late 2nd round pick or early 3rd, but he could provide 1st round value with his uncanny ability to rebound and block as a guard.

Lonzo Ball (PG) – Chicago Bulls

New team, who dis? Lonzo is probably one of the most well-known players in the league due to his family, but he hasn’t had his big season yet. On a new team, playing as an actual Point Guard, he should be able to finally produce a quality season. He has always been able to produce steals, 3s, and assists, but he should be able to score more with the other offensive weapons that the Bulls have.
